Mechanical Pin Laser Cladding

The pin shaft can move in relation to the connected components as well as be linked statically and fixedly. It primarily functions as the hinge connection between two pieces.

The operating condition of the equipment parts will tremble once the pin shaft fails due to wear, and it may even change the direction in which the parts travel. Wear is the primary cause of the pin shaft’s loss and failure.

Project background

The use of ultra-high-speed laser cladding technology on mechanical pins can significantly increase the hardness (above HRC65) and wear resistance of the pin shaft surface, greatly extend the pin shaft’s useful life, lessen the likelihood of connection failure between equipment parts, and enhance the work efficiency of the equipment as a whole.
